The Creator of Daily Lolita

Interview on “Daily Lolita Manga”

Sakura: To everyone, who knows me already or not.
I ‘am Sakura Fujio. Nice to meet you~ 

QIV: And…. I ‘am QIV (stands for Quotev InterViewer)

QIV: Please tell us why you start this project, beginning with the manga.

Sakura: Because by reading the manga the readers will slowly understand the meaning of Daily Lolita. It will make it easy to understand other projects related to Daily Lolita.

QIV: Very interesting. So how many chapters and volumes are there?

Sakura: I ‘am still thinking about the chapters. For the volume there are four in total.

QIV: Four! That's a great number!

Sakura: Yes, but there will be little chapters in some volumes. Example
You will read only 5 chapters in volume 3 while you have read over 30 chapters in volume 1.

QIV: That's rare.

Sakura: There will be mini chapters as well. Mini chapters will be 3 or 5 pages like short stories. And they will mainly be comedy.

QIV: Are mini chapters related to the next chapter in the story?

Sakura: No. Mini chapters will be {example} you read a chapter and then there will be a mini chapter (which has nothing to do with the next chapter you are going to read) and then the next chapter will came. There’s going to be a lot of mini chapters so look forward.

QIV: And the genera for the manga?

Sakura: There are a lot of genera for “Daily Lolita.” The main theme for the manga is shoujo, because the whole story is about the heroine. Depending on the volume the genera changes. In the first and second volume the genera are: school, slice of life, mystery, and fantasy. Except, in the second volume there is horror and a little psychological. Volume three is going to be: sci-fi, alien, and fantasy. And finally volume four will be: sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, video game, action, music, mecha, horror, and mystery. For volume four there will be lots of chapters since the story will focus on video game. Also as a  representative for some chapters in volume four, there will be short clips (animation) of character in battles.

QIV: I can’t wait for the fourth volume!! You did say its about video games right!?
Sakura: Yup~

QIV: Can you tell us about some of the chapter on each volume? Since the readers are really excited.

Sakura: Sure~ There will be lots of life situation (slice of life) in volume 1 – 2, so some readers might end up crying. Also, there will be many information on ghost and supernatural on volume 2. In the fourth volume there will be lots of information on technology so I think it will attract those who like robotic futuristic stuffs, since I made lots of efforts drawing the buildings and electronic devices. And there is a little surprise in volume 4, so please look forward!

QIV: I was also wondering how you give different genera to different volume. Could you explain...?

Sakura: What’s good about “Daily Lolita” manga is that the readers can read any of the volume without reading from the first chapter of the first volume to understand the story. So they could start reading the fourth volume without reading the first volume. Because each volume represent a different story that are all connected to the heroine’s main story. But the heroine is still going to be the main character in all of the volume.

QIV: So those who what to read about video games (volume 4) instead of school and slice of life (volume 1-2) can skip those and start reading volume four?

Sakura: Exactly! But those who want to read volume 4 must wait till I finished all the volumes (volume 1 to 3). I hope those who are reading this will look forward my projects!

QIV: Yes! I will look forward! Thank you for giving us time to have an interview with you. Is there anything else you want to say to the readers?

Sakura: Daily Lolita will be something that you have never read before; it will be something that you never thought that it exists till now. It will be giving you the atmosphere! Daily Lolita atmosphere~

QIV (Quotev InterViewer) was just a made up character (I wrote all the Questionnaires). And I made it because it was my first interview (so that I could tell the reader what I want). Also if there are more then one person who wants to become my interviewer there will be a little game. So there will be a switch of interviewer so that each person gets a chance to be my interviewer on different interviews.

About the Story of Daily Lolita

About Daily Lolita Story. . . Wendy Macalister is a girl who was sent to the human worldfrom somewhere far way and mysterious. She was sent to Earth with a reason and a mission. When she become the age of 10 she realized the truth about her self, and remembers her real name. The  truth unfolds…..and the heroine struggle to live as a human. Because the world where she come from is different from the world humans are living. It made her say things like; “is it just me? Or them?”

Then a twist of fate appears…
hearing a voice that said;
“you will live….or die….
depending the path you choose….”

Those words echoes and the heroine finds a way to get out of the labyrinth. On the way she learns about humans...life and death….humans’ feelings….and things that humans enjoys…..
Will the heroine finds the way out of the labyrinth and find the light…? If so…how?
Or will she become a human and be trapped in the darkness of the labyrinth..?

"Daily Lolita" is a project run by Sakura Fujio, a living shoujo manga heroine!
She starts with an online fantasy novel (which is still ongoing) with the title Daily Lolita!
Then she decided to turn it into a shoujo manga with the same name.
