September Chicken Recipe

September Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
-Chicken Breast
-Scallions
-Potatoes (2 to 3 big potatoes)
-Carrots (1 big carrot)
-Onions (1 big one or 2 small ones)
-Tomatos (3 juicy tomatos)
-Butter (salted butter)
-Oil (any type of oil you preferrer)
-Water (room temperature)

Seasoning
-Turmeric (tiny bit)
-Salt (1 tea spoon)
-Black Pepper (2 tea spoon)
-Maggie Sauce (3 table spoon)
-Spring Onions (as you like)

Utensil
-Big pot
-Bowl
-Plate
-Knives
-Cutboard

First you have to wash the chicken breast, slice them into cubes then season it with turmeric powder and salt. Then place them in a box or in a bowl and cover it tightly and leave it over night in the freezer. The next morning take out the chicken from the freezer and let it unfroze in a room temperature. Prepare the ingredients as you wait for the chicken to be unfroze (this step may took 1 hour or so). Slice the potatoes, carrots into small cubes, dice the onions and tomatoes then place them on a plate. When the chicken is unfroze wash the chicken over and over until the turmeric color is almost gone. After that place it in a bowl and start the seasoning.

You will have to use clear plastic gloves at this point. Pour three table spoon of Maggie sauce and mix with the chicken using your hand waring the gloves. Sprinkle the black pepper on the chicken and mash it again with gloves. Next put one tea spoon of pure white salt and mix it again until all the seasonings are well soaked in the chicken.

Put the pot on the stove and pour 1(or 2) table spoon of oil. Heat the pot to medium and put the salted butter. Place the diced onions in the pot first and then the tomatoes. After a few minutes the tomato's juice should come out if not (if the tomatoes are too dry) put 2 table spoon of water in. Wait for 2 minutes, place the seasoned chicken breasts in the middle of the pot. Then place the cubes of carrots and potatoes on top of the chicken and around the pot (inside) nicely. Pour 1 to 2 cups of water in the bowl you use to season the chicken. Pour it into the chicken pot  from the top and close the lid. Heat it to high and wait for 1 hour and a half. Now you can wash the knives and dishes while waiting for the awesome chicken cuisine to be finished!

Tip: After 20 or 30 minutes you may taste the potato and the carrots to see if its well cooked. At this point can also put more salt or pepper in if you want. After an hour try tasting the chicken with a fork. If your stove heating is good enough the chicken should be well cooked. Cut the scallion into small sizes and put them into the pot. After that close the stove and the lid, wait for 15 minutes before you place it on a plate. You can eat this dish with rice, brown bread and white bread as well~(ゝ◡╹)ノ♡
